MA’AN Signs Agreements with 30 Private Sector Companies and Institutions to Provide 60 Training Opportunities for Palestinian Youth under the “Wazzefni” Program
In a step aimed at strengthening the capacities of Palestinian youth and enhancing their economic empowerment, MA’AN Development Center signed cooperation agreements with 30 private sector companies and institutions to provide 60 paid training opportunities under the “Wazzefni” program, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in partnership with Foras.ps.
The program comes as part of MA’AN’s ongoing efforts to support Palestinian youth by equipping them with essential employability skills and linking them to the labor market through practical paid training opportunities that help build their professional experience and readiness for employment with confidence and competence.
“Wazzefni” seeks to open sustainable career pathways for young women and men by offering quality paid training opportunities across various sectors, contributing to the development of their practical skills and enabling them to gain the experience needed to transition into future employment opportunities.
The program is expected to support the training and employment of around 150 young women and men through strategic partnerships with private sector institutions, thereby improving their economic prospects and preparing them for a promising professional future.
