Employment for All" Project Visits Pioneering Agri-Tech Startups in Jenin and Tulkarm

The team of the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MA’AN Hub) conducted a field visit to monitor and review key vital projects benefiting from the "Employment for All" (E4A) project. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by MA'AN Development Center.
The tour began with a visit to "Bio Pal" Agricultural Company in Silat al-Harithiya, Jenin Governorate. The company was supported with two modern greenhouses dedicated to cultivating non-traditional and exotic tropical crops, such as pineapples and blueberries. This intervention aims to scale up production and create new job opportunities in food processing and marketing.
The team also visited "Al-Tayseer for Construction" Company in Tulkarm Governorate, which was equipped with an advanced Hydroponics system for producing leafy greens like lettuce, celery, and watercress. This system integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology, utilizing Smart Sensors that allow farmers to monitor and manage pH levels, electrical conductivity (EC), and temperatures, while fully controlling irrigation and fertilization via mobile phones from anywhere. This ensuring premium production quality and employing specialized experts in agriculture, nutrition, and marketing.
This tour marks the first step in a series of planned field visits to 10 pioneering startups benefiting from the project. Detailed success stories will be published progressively to highlight the impact of technology and innovation in creating sustainable employment within the local community
