Startup Support
Startup Support
One of MA'AN Hub's flagship services is its Startup Support Program - a hands-on incubation and acceleration track designed to take early-stage Palestinian startups from idea to market. This isn't just office space and advice. It's a structured, results-driven program that puts real resources, real expertise, and real networks behind founders who are ready to build something that lasts.
Palestine has no shortage of talent. What founders need is the right infrastructure around them - a place that understands the local landscape, connects them to regional and global opportunities, and gives them the tools to compete. That is exactly what the Startup Support Program is built to do.
Funding That Gets You Moving
Startups accepted into the program gain access to a seed fund of up to $10,000 - direct, early-stage capital designed to help founders move fast. Whether it's developing a prototype, running early market tests, hiring a first team member, or covering the operational costs of getting off the ground, this funding removes one of the biggest barriers Palestinian entrepreneurs face: access to capital at the earliest and most critical stage of the journey. No lengthy procurement cycles, no bureaucratic delays - just resources directed where they matter most.
Expert Coaching, Not Generic Advice
Every startup in the program is matched with a dedicated team of specialists who bring deep, field-tested expertise across the areas that matter most to early-stage ventures:
- Business Development Specialists who help founders sharpen their value proposition, build their go-to-market strategy, and structure a business that can scale.
- Market Systems Specialists who understand how Palestinian and regional markets actually function - the informal dynamics, the supply chain realities, the customer behaviors - and help startups build models that work within and around those systems.
- Investment Specialists who prepare founders for fundraising, help them build investor-ready materials, and connect them to the right people at the right time - whether that's angel investors, impact funds, or regional venture capital.
This isn't a panel of advisors who check in once a month. It's consistent, practical, one-on-one coaching built around each startup's specific challenges and goals.
Networking That Opens Doors
One of the most underrated parts of building a startup is who you know - and who knows you. The Startup Support Program gives founders access to a carefully built network that goes well beyond the walls of the hub. Throughout the program, participants are connected to a wide range of people and opportunities that can move the needle for their business:
- Investor meetups and pitch sessions where founders get in front of angel investors, impact funds, and institutional funders operating in Palestine and the region.
- Cross-sector networking events that bring together entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, corporate partners, public sector officials, and development organizations - the kind of room where partnerships are formed and opportunities are spotted.
- Peer learning circles with other founders inside the program, creating a culture of honest exchange, shared experience, and mutual accountability.
- Alumni connections with graduates of previous program cycles who have navigated the same challenges and are often willing to open doors, share contacts, and offer hard-earned perspective.
- Regional and international exposure through partnerships with accelerators, hubs, and ecosystem players outside Palestine - because Palestinian startups deserve visibility beyond their geography.
Networking inside MA'AN Hub is not a scheduled event you attend once a month. It is baked into the daily experience of working from the space, attending workshops, and being part of a community that genuinely wants to see each other succeed.
A Community Built for Growth
Participants in the Startup Support Program work out of MA'AN Hub's coworking space in Al Masyoon, Ramallah, giving them daily access to a community of fellow entrepreneurs, NGO professionals, and business leaders. They attend workshops, training sessions, and investor events hosted by the hub throughout the program cycle. They become part of a growing alumni network of Palestinian startups that have gone through the program and come out the other side stronger, more connected, and better prepared for what comes next.
Who Is This For?
The Startup Support Program is designed for early-stage startups with a clear idea, a founding team, and the ambition to grow. We look for founders who are serious about execution, open to feedback, and committed to building something with real impact - for their business, their community, and the Palestinian economy. Whether you are in the earliest stages of validating an idea or already generating your first revenue, if you are ready to commit to the process, MA'AN Hub is ready to back you.
